New Tools for Educators using Minecraft Education
We're absolutely thrilled to unveil our latest creation: Educator Tools! This open-source Minecraft Education Add-On is designed with educators and creators in mind, aiming to supercharge classroom adventures and make learning through play even more engaging.
What's in the Toolbox?
Educator Tools introduces a suite of functionalities tailored to support educators in creating dynamic and controlled learning environments:
- Letter Blocks: A comprehensive set of blocks featuring the alphabet, numbers, punctuation, currency symbols, mathematical equations, and various other symbols, enabling educators to construct interactive and informative in-game displays.
- Teleport System: Allows educators to teleport to specific players or move players to other specific players, facilitating seamless navigation and interaction within the game world.
- Gamemode Management: Provides the ability to swiftly change the game mode for specific players or all players simultaneously, adapting the gameplay experience to suit different educational activities.
- Timer: Enables educators to set a visible timer within the world, assisting in time management for activities and challenges.
- World Settings: Allows educators to adjust game rules without leaving the world, offering flexibility in modifying the learning environment on-the-fly.
- Lock Players: Gives educators the capability to confine players within a defined circle, either around the educator or a specific coordinate, ensuring focused participation during lessons.
All these features are wrapped up in a sleek, custom user interface, the Educator's Toolbox—designed to make your teaching experience as intuitive as possible.
